We started our little girl at Owl’s Nest at the early age of 5 months old. Being our first born, we were nervous, yet mostly excited for this new journey of daycare.
It was a small group and Jennifer was very hands on. From day one she put us at ease when having to leave her for the first time, the fifth time, the twentieth time. And each time, it became easier and easier knowing she was in such great care.

Jennifer has a teaching background and wanted to nurture and have the little ones learn, hit their developmental stages, all the while giving them a sense of security and loving environment. Our daughter prospered wonderfully while at Owl’s Nest. She grew into an independent, savvy, smart little toddler. She grew to love Miss Jennifer and her buddies that she played with and cohorted with on a daily basis.

We were extremely sad when it was time to leave at over 2 years old. It was time for our daughter to move onto pre-school. She still talks and asks about Miss Jennifer and the other kids. I truly believe she is the fierce little human she is today because she “grew up” at Owl’s Nest, in such a loving, encouraging and teaching environment.

My son has been with Miss Jennifer since he was 3 months old and she has become such an important person in his life. It was so hard to leave my baby in the care of someone else but Jennifer has provided such a loving, supportive and stimulating environment for my son since the beginning that any fears I had in those first few days quickly disappeared. I will forever be thankful that we met her.

I decided on Owl's Nest because it was a family daycare based in a home with a small number of children the same age where my son had one on one attention. It was beautiful to see him grow and learn side by side with his new best friends.

It was such a relief to know that someone was making sure he had tummy time, was getting his nutrition, was learning to eat solids, was learning to crawl, walk, run, talk, sing! All three of the kids at Owl's Nest are such bright little happy people and they will be lifelong friends.

Miss Jennifer has such a warm heart. She goes above and beyond and cares for your children as if they were her own. She is a born teacher and genuinely wants your children to succeed. She will help your children meet their milestones without even having to ask. She's always a step ahead! As a working mom, and a first time mom, this is such a gift.
My son is going to preschool soon and is definitely ready! I love that the Montessori approach to learning is used by Miss Jennifer. The kids have plenty of time to play but they also have time to focus on learning, read lots of books, do gardening, baking and so much more!
Thank you so Miss Jennifer!

Our son started at Owl's Nest when he was just over a year old and we are so pleased with the care he has received there. He is now just over two years old, and over the past year, Miss Jennifer has helped guide him through many different developmental transitions: from two naps to one, using the potty, not needing the pacifier for nap-time, among others. My husband and I appreciate the cozy, safe, and homey environment that Miss Jennifer creates, and love seeing and hearing about the age-appropriate projects, games, and play that the children engage in. Miss Jennifer embodies all the characteristics of a nurturing and kind caretaker, while also being an experienced and knowledgeable early childhood educator.

When I first started looking for a daycare for my twin boys, Owls Nest Child Care stood out because they had experience with multiples. Looking back I realize it was a great decision to send my boys there. My boys started when they were fourteen months old and have learned so much from the very first day they started at Owls Nest and we couldn't be happier. It is always scary to leave your kids with others, but at Owls Nest, I never had to worry. I was able to go to work with ease knowing that my kids were in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. They were always happy when I picked them up and many times they did not want to leave.
Owls Nest is an amazing place for kids to learn and grow. Ms. Jennifer and all the teachers are caring, nurturing and just overall amazing. They have provided such great support for all developmental stages, especially in the much needed potty training stage. We are very fortunate to have found such an amazing child care for our twin boys, who without a doubt loved being there. Now as my boys turn four and are transitioning to TK, we are very sad to have to leave Owls Nest, but happy to open up the space so others can experience this amazing child care.
